DecorHaus ("we", "us", "our") operates decor.haus. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Information we collect

Information you give us directly — your name and email address if you contact us, subscribe to a newsletter, or leave a comment. Information collected automatically — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referral source, collected via cookies and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics). Cookies from third-party services — including affiliate tracking cookies from Amazon Associates and Commission Factory, which are set when you click a link on our site and help those programs attribute purchases to us.We do not collect sensitive information (health, financial, etc.) and this site is not directed at children.

2. How we use your information

We use the information collected to respond to enquiries you send us, send newsletter content if you've opted in (with an unsubscribe option in every email), understand how visitors use the site so we can improve content and navigation, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Affiliate disclosure

DecorHaus is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.com.au. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.We are also a publisher within the Commission Factory affiliate network and may earn commission from qualifying purchases made through links to participating Australian retailers.These affiliate relationships do not affect the price you pay, and do not influence which products we choose to feature.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure site traffic and behaviour (Google Analytics), and track affiliate referrals (Amazon Associates, Commission Factory) so retailers can credit us for purchases made after you click through from DecorHaus. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features (and affiliate tracking) may not work correctly if you do.

5. Sharing your information

We may share information with service providers who help us run the site (e.g. our hosting provider and email delivery services), affiliate networks and retailers, limited to what's needed for tracking and attribution, and authorities, where required by law. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
